JT Blinds participates at Genesis House with Hope of the Valley & California Home Builders.

Genesis House – housing for homeless women and their children.   JT Blinds was proud to participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony to the Genesis House in Pacoima, CA.  The Genesis House is a wonderful new project spearheaded by Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission.  Most noteworthy, California Home Builders and Home Aid also played a pivotal role in the project.  The house provides shelter and restoration for homeless women and their children.

Also, JT Blinds was among 60 honored suppliers and sub contractors that donated their time and services.  Their assistance was needed to make this much needed house a reality.  The idea for the Genesis House came about when the building’s owner Steven Sperber contacted Ken Craft, CEO Hope of the Valley.  The former Nun’s facility was the ideal location for such this project.  David Cruz of Valley View Realty provided his services for an effortless property sale.  Genesis House – housing for homeless women!

In addition, Los Angeles 7th District Councilman Felipe Fuentes was on hand to speak at the event and to offer his continual support behind this project and future one’s to come.  The Genesis House is now open and ready to service the San Fernando Valley community.
